PRACTICAL PNEUMATICS

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Participant will have fulfilling 4 days (24 hours) course whereby they will be able to :

  1. Identify the needs of compressed air production and purification, construction and the components in pneumatic control systems.
  2. Identify and use of control schematics.
  3. Design, sizing and troubleshooting of pneumatic circuit.

TOPICS COVERED

  1. Production, processing and distribution of compressed air.
  2. Logic YES/NO, AND, OR
  3. Valves – 3/2, 5/2, 5/3, dual air pilot, single air pilot.
  4. Speed controllers,Needle Valve, Throttle relief valve, Quick exhaust valve
  5. Auto – return circuit

MAINTENANCE OF PNEUMATIC SYSTEM & CIRCUIT DESIGN

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Participant will have fulfilling 4 days (24 hours) course whereby they will be able to :

  1. Identify the function and common parts that are easily subjected to wear in pneumatic components
  2. Design complex pneumatic circuits
  3. Identify the possible causes of failure in a complex pneumatic system.
  4. Use a systematic approach in fault finding and correction.

  1. Function and operation of air purification equipment.
  2. Common wearing of parts in pneumatic components.
  3. Preventive maintenance of pneumatic systems.
  4. Design of various controls (Logic, Memory, Time – Dependent)
